The ordering below is by relevance to the project's central thesis (the surviving rooftop ornament as a possible aerial element of an integrated atmospheric electrical system) rather than chronological. In 1970, before the satellite confirmation, Alfven won the Nobel Prize in Physics for the broader magnetohydrodynamics body of work.
